Space and Storage at a Small Price

I grew up in New Orleans and after moving away a couple years ago, I learned to appreciate the art of a good layout. Yes, shotgun houses once made sense. Before the advent of air-conditioning, you could open up the front and back doors and get a nice breeze blowing through the whole house. Nowadays, it’s just uncomfortable to have guests traipse through your bedroom to get to the shower. That’s why I love my home here at Monarch Medical Center luxury apartments.

I live in the layout called A1, a 560-square foot one-bedroom, one-bath. The apartment is big enough to suit my needs, small enough to clean in an hour, perfect for my busy life. This is like a one-bedroom plus because of the extra space it has, a dining room off the kitchen, a dressing area outside the shower and a big walk-in closet off the bedroom. As for the bedroom itself, it’s spacious enough for my queen bed, dresser and much more. Along with the huge closet inside, there’s a big storage room off the patio, a great place to stash my Christmas decorations the other eleven months of the year.

The kitchen has plenty of countertop space and a wraparound island for even more room. The living room is big enough for my huge pullout couch, perfect for when guests come to visit. And I love having company. That’s why I love the layout so much. Guests can crash on the living room couch and access the bathroom without having to walk all the way through my room. That makes life a whole lot more comfortable for everyone.
